Krav Maga Instructor Team

Gershon Ben Keren is a 5th Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga who received his training, belts, and teaching certifications in Israel. In 2010 he was one of the first inductees into the Museum of Israeli Martial Arts in Herzliya, Israel. He is the author of three Amazon best-selling books on Krav Maga (published by Tuttle Press) and writes the weekly Krav Maga Blog. He first started training Krav Maga in 1993, and continues to teach and train in Israel, as well as bring Krav Maga instructors over from Israel and other countries to teach and share their experiences. He has written three Amazon best-selling books on Krav Maga (Tuttle Publishing).

He is a criminologist who has been working in the security industry since 1990. He holds two master's degrees. One in Psychology (Newcastle University) and the other in Criminology and Criminal Psychology (University of Essex). Using evidential research and his thirty plus years’ experience working in the security industry, the training programs at Krav Maga Yashir are up to date and relevant in the way that they deal with threats to personal safety and security.
